Dr. Benjamin Howard is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care with a focus on patient comfort and safety. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2002 and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Dr. Howard completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Loyola University in 2012.

Following nearly three years of practicing the full scope of oral surgery in the greater Chicago area, Dr. Howard returned to Colorado, where he continues to serve the community with compassion and expertise. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), a Fellow of both the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS), and a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA). He also participates in several local dental associations. Dr. Howard holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Dr. Howard’s professional interests include office-based surgical procedures such as the removal of impacted teeth, placement of dental implants, and both minor and complex bone grafting. He is also highly experienced in hard and soft tissue augmentation, orthognathic surgery for the correction of craniofacial deformities, the management of orofacial pathology, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and facial trauma. His extensive training in anesthesia allows him to offer a wide range of sedation options tailored to each patient’s needs.

In 2015, Dr. Howard and his wife Michele relocated from Illinois to Colorado. Together with their daughter, Evelyn, and their beloved pets, they enjoy an active lifestyle that includes outdoor adventures, travel, and time spent with family and friends. They are also active members of their church and local community.
