
Dr. Kevin Andrus is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and the founder of Longmont Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery, PLLC. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2002 and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. During his training, he received extensive experience in oral, facial, and implant surgery, as well as in the administration of general anesthesia and IV sedation.
Dr. Andrus is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). He is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA) and various regional dental organizations. He maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
After completing his residency, Dr. Andrus practiced the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Chicago before relocating to Colorado with his family. In 2011, he opened Longmont Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery, a modern surgical facility staffed by a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Dr. Andrus’ clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, the extraction of impacted teeth, dental implant placement, minor and complex bone grafting, and the management of oral and jaw pathology. He also performs facial trauma reconstruction and orthognathic (jaw realignment) surgery. He holds medical staff privileges at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
