Dr. Kevin Andrus is a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Andrus then received specialty training in oral, facial and implant surgery throughout his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Andrus also received extensive training in the administration of general anesthesia and intravenous sedation.
Dr. Andrus is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is a fellow with the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS). He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA) as well as a number of local dental associations and groups. Dr. Andrus maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
After the completion of his residency, Dr. Andrus practiced the full scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery in Chicago, IL prior to relocating to Colorado with his family. He started Longmont Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery, PC in 2011. The practice is a state of the art facility with an outstanding staff who provide exemplary care for their patients.
Dr. Andrus’ areas of professional interest include office-based dentoalveolar surgery including extraction of impacted teeth, placement of dental implants, minor and complex bone grafting, and pathology of the oral cavity and jaws. He also enjoys surgical treatment of facial trauma and correction of craniofacial deformities (orthognathic surgery). Dr. Andrus holds medical staff privileges at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Dr. Andrus is a native of Michigan and relocated to Colorado to enjoy our beautiful state and be a part of a family oriented community. He has two sons, Brady & Ronan.
